The Workshop
Compose the environment
Section titled “Compose the environment”The Workshop is Aleph’s shared, composable environment. Users assemble models, agents, tools, resources, connectors, and context into a system shaped around the way they want to work.
It is a composition surface for the runtime around the model. A user chooses an agent’s model or provider, context and resources, permitted capabilities, and the workflow in which those parts operate. Aleph still mediates execution, persistence and trust boundaries.
Why composition matters
Section titled “Why composition matters”A model can generate and reason over input, but it does not automatically know which files matter, which tools are available, which permissions apply, or where a tool should execute. Workshop makes those surrounding decisions part of the configured environment rather than scattering them across unrelated settings.
Specialized or custom
Section titled “Specialized or custom”Some users start with one of Aleph’s specialized workspaces. Others compose a more personal environment in Workshop. The long-term direction is interoperability between these approaches; it is not a claim that every cross-domain capability already works in the current build.
